The NL Tropical Sleeping Bag from original military stock is a fully functional, lightweight sleeping bag that impresses not only with its quality workmanship but also with its low weight and small packed size. This mummy-style summer sleeping bag is vapor-permeable, which pays off on humid, hot nights. The two-way zipper can also be opened for extra ventilation. For the warmth you need on cool, foggy nights, the Shelltrans outer shell adds an extra layer of insulation. The head area is fitted with a mosquito net that is held in place with loops. The mosquito net then closes over the face area with a zipper. This original, used tropical sleeping bag from Dutch Army stock comes fully functional but may show signs of use such as stains or discoloration. Mummy sleeping bag: Here the ratio of packed size, weight and warmth is the key criterion. The shaped foot section reduces weight and packed size. The main advantage, however, is that there is less internal volume to keep warm from the knees down. The foot section should not be too small, so that your feet don't push the insulation layer outward.
